Dresden This made for TV movie is the story of a young German Nurse named Anna (Felicitas Woll) who begins caring for an English bomber pilot Robert (John Light) that she had found hiding in a basement after having been shot down over enemy territory. They begin fall in love regardless of the ongoing national divide between their two countries. Their doomed romance is further complicated by Anna’s engagement to a well-to-do German doctor (Benjamin Sadler), her sister’s patriotic involvement with the Nazi Party, and the controversy surrounding her high society, well respected father’s involvement in a black market drug scandal.
